Julia Palte has been working in the insurance practice of EY Innovalue since 2010. As a partner, she is part of the company's leadership team. Julia is a proven specialist for growth and digitalization strategies, in particular omnichannel and distribution strategies and the development of new insurance business models.
As part of her consulting work, she deals with brand, product and pricing strategies as part of omnichannel strategies as well as the design of organizational and process models within the insurance sector. In setting up new business models, she was responsible for projects involving the creation of new insurers and MGA business models. In terms of sales strategies, she mainly deals with the broker sales channel, tied agents and the direct sales channel. Moreover, she focuses on increasing efficiency in sales and sales-related functions of insurance companies.
Julia is a widely experienced project manager who advises several of the German top-tier insurers as well as smaller specialist insurers. She extended her project experience with the MBA Insurance programme at the University of Leipzig, where she has graduated in 2014 with a Master’s degree. Her Master’s thesis dealt with the omnichannel strategies of insurance companies.
Julia studied Economics and Business Administration at the University of Hanover. Prior to her studies, Julia successfully completed a trainee program at Kreissparkasse Hanover. Before joining the EY Innovalue team, Julia worked in business development of a large German retailer.
